Jungle Safari at Chitwan National Park- 2 Nights / 3 Days Package

Royal Chitwan National Park was declared UNESCO Natural Heritage Site in 1979. This park is situated in southern central Nepal, covering 932 covered with deciduous forests overlooking the floodplains of Narayani, Rapti and Reu rivers. The park headquarters at Kasara is 21 km drive from Bharatpur which is 20 minutes by air or 146 km by road from Kathmandu. In this park there are many Resorts, hotels, and lodge accommodations.

This famous park offers a wilderness that has a rich ecosystem which includes various mammals, a wide variety of birds, reptiles, as well as many types of water animals. The highlights of this park are the 500 Asian one-horned rhinoceros and some hundred nocturnal Royal Bengal tigers that live in the dense forests of the park. You will discover a lost world of towering trees and twisting vines, filled with pre-historic rhinos, lumbering elephants, crocodiles, and pythons. It is also filled with brilliantly colored birds and if you are fortunate enough to see the extremely rare and endangered superb Royal Bengal Tiger. Also making its home in Chitwan are other animals like rhesus monkey, grey langur, deer, leopards and wild cats etc. Another most important factor adding to the Chitwan experience is the colorful people of Tharu. Tharu culture, their way of living, tradition, and heart touching Tharu Dance make the Chitwan experience all the more special and complete. Chitwan provides you with many activities like a Jungle Safari on elephants back, a jungle walk, bird watching, a canoe ride, a jeep drive, as well as much more. It is the ultimate Jungle experience!

Program Itenery:

Day 01

07.00 : Drive or fly to Chitwan. After arrival at Chitwan, transfer to the Hotel.

15.00: Cultural Tour (To visit Tharu village)

19.00 : Tharu cultural dance presentation (which you can also participate in) by the local villagers.
20.00 :
Day 02

06.00 : Wake up call.

07.00 :
Canoeing Ride and Elephant Breeding Centre Visit.
13.00 : Lunch
15.00 : Elephant Safari
. An excellent opportunity to see four different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, wild bore, monkey, leopard, sloth bear and the Royal Bengal Tiger (If you are lucky). You will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Chitwan their home.
20.00 :
Day 03
06.30 : Wake up call.
07.00 :
07.45 : Visit to the
Bird Watching / Elephant Safari / Jungle Walk.
09.30 : Departure  to your destination
