“Children Home” is one of the project of our organization “HFN - Nepal”. We started this home in 2006 with 4 high-risk children in desperate circumstances. The story of each child was unique and tragic. Despite the desperate circumstances we believed each child deserved a loving home and a hope for the future. We started to provide care, shelter, and education for these children. The home has now grown to over 15 children 4 years to 12 years of age.

We see this only as a beginning. There are thousands and thousands of children who are at risk and need through out the country. We want to love and mold them and send them out with awareness so that they can help to develop the country and to love other with the love of Christ.

An orphanage is an institution devoted to the care of children whose parents are deceased or otherwise unable to care for them. Parents, and sometimes grandparents, are legally responsible for supporting children, but in the absence of these or other relatives willing to care for the children, they become a ward of the state, and orphanages are a way of providing for their care and housing. Foster care and more extensive adoption programs have been the preferred practice in many developed nations. However, there will always be a situation where there is a shortage of foster parents and will require orphanages to provide care for children.
